ACUSIM Software was founded in 1994 by Dr. Farzin Shakib to provide engineers and scientists with superior CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) solutions.

Mission

ACUSIM's mission is to develop a robust, fast and accurate finite element flow solver that can be seamlessly used by all levels of expertise, both as a standalone solver and as an embedded component integrated into engineering and scientific applications.

Headquartered in Mountain View, California, ACUSIM Software markets its flagship product, AcuSolve and associated pre-processor, AcuConsole, through direct sales, OEM partners, and distributor channels. Our first customer was established in 1997 in the United States. Today, ACUSIM Software has customers in India, Japan, North America, South America, and Europe.

ACUSIM partners with a number of companies in order to provide customized solutions to better fit client needs. Over the years we have partnered with Pioneer Solutions, Optimal Solutions Inc, ICEM-CFD, Simmetrix, Mixing Consultant Inc., and Applied Research Associates.

AcuSolve is being used in a wide variety of industries such as automotive, electronic cooling, chemical mixing, bio-medical, and energy industries as well as national labs, and universities. AcuSolve runs on a wide range of UNIX/Linux platforms and Windows 2000/XP in both 32bit and 64bit mode. AcuSolve was architected to execute in parallel and performance scales whether on a desktop PC with 2 processors or a large parallel cluster with 256 processors.
